CHANDIGARH: Dr. Baljit Singh Sekhon is an international  sportsman who has many firsts into his credit. The first baptised Sikh who is an international judge in the shooting. Presently he is Director Sports and head of the department Nagaland University at Kohima.

He is the first Amritdhari who created India record in Pistol Shooting, first Amritdhari became an International Shooting Judge and Jury, ISSF Munich, Germany and Youngest University Director In India.

The SGPC, Amritsar and the Sikh Panth Honored Dr.Baljit Singh Sekhon  with Nishan-E- Khalsa on the eve of closing ceremony of tercentenary celebrations of Khalsa Panth at Anandpur Sahib.

A humble Sikh Dr.Baljit Singh Sekhon has rare quality of attaching to people and let them feel friendly with him. He is a true sportsman and pride of Punjab. We hope to write more on him in future.
